Mr. Soumya Kanti Acharya

Mr. Shoummo K Acharya, is a renowned name in the field of transportation management, logistics and telematics. Mr. Acharya possesses deep insight and rich expertise across varied domains such as petroleum products, transportation, freight forwarding, containerization, advertising & public relations, and information technology.

He has over 51 years of experience, with 37 years of experience in logistics sector alone.

Prior to founding eTrans Solutions, Mr. Acharya held senior positions in petroleum industry and was involved in Govt committees to initiate a number of measures for the petroleum industry before moving on to freight forwarding & logistics and was responsible for turning around of the Group involved in this activity. He worked for over five years in United Kingdom setting up Balmer Lawrie’s international division before coming back to India as the Managing Director of Indian Container Leasing Co. Ltd (re-christened Transafe Services Ltd), a Joint Venture of Transamerica Leasing Inc. – USA, ICICI Group & Balmer Lawrie.

A chemical engineer and an alumnus of Templeton College, Oxford, his entrepreneurial spirit, leadership skills and logistics vision inspire many and he is a regular speaker at various industry platforms and universities on the subject of entrepreneurship, logistics, and fleet management among others.

Under his vision and leadership, eTrans has evolved as the customers’ go-to provider for vehicle tracking and transportation solutions

Ateesh Tankha is the founder of ALSOWISE®, a company that serves both corporate and academic institutions to provide Language Proficiency, Business Communication and Knowledge Enhancement Services.

Ateesh has rich and diversified experience in sales, distribution, business and product development, and brand management among others. He holds an MBA from International Management Institute, New Delhi and did his BA from Presidency College, Calcutta. He has more than two decades of industry experience, of which a decade was spent in banking, digital payments and merchant services at Citibank NA. He previously worked with eTrans Solutions as the COO from 2017 – 2022. He was also one of the founding members of the company in 2000. Until 2016, he was the Head of Merchant Services and Payments for Citi in North America, managing $380 billion in payment volumes. He has also worked in optimising payment networks and sales, and was awarded a U.S. patent for Citi Price Rewind, a retail price discovery mechanism. Prior to Citi, he spent nearly 7 years with ITC Ltd in India and the United States.He is a regular contributor to the Economic Times, The Ken, and other publications, focusing on digital payments, RBI policy, banking, lending, digital currencies, social media, artificial intelligence, antitrust etc. He is also a featured columnist with the Economic Times on Sunday.

His personal obsessions include reading and writing. Professionally, he divides his time between India and Singapore.

He has held leadership roles at renowned organizations such as Linde, Colgate Palmolive, Sembcorp Logistics, and Reliance Group. At Linde, he spent 16+ years overseeing Distribution (Logistics), Customer Service, and SHEQ across Southeast Asia, optimizing operations and driving sustainability.

Ranabir holds a Commerce degree and specialized in Supply Chain from IIM Ahmedabad. Known for his strategic acumen, he has led multi-million-dollar operations, managed large teams , and spearheaded Greenfield projects, AI-driven strategies, and post-merger integrations.

As CEO of eTrans, he provides visionary leadership, driving innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth, positioning the organization as a key player across multiple sectors.

A highly accomplished and results-driven technology professional with over 18 years of experience, Abhishek Priyadarshi currently serves as VP and Chief Technology Officer at eTrans Solutions. In his role as VP & CTO, Abhishek is responsible for ensuring that technology serves as a strategic enabler for the business, driving innovation, efficiency, and growth. He also leads technology roadmap development, digital transformation initiatives and overall IT strategy.

Prior to joining eTrans, Abhishek worked at Tata Steel and Nat Steel. He holds an MBA in Information Technology. His expertise spans cloud computing, cybersecurity, software development, data analytics, and AI/ML.

A Corporate and Marketing Communication Specialist, Tumpa has over 30 years of experience in the domain of Branding, Communications and CSR. Across her career curve, she has effectively carried out diverse roles across brand identity management, external and internal communications, customer experience (CX), media, event, PR, CSR with result driven performance.

At eTrans she is responsible for supporting the entire gamut of communications and brand / image building exercise that include internal and external communication activities.

Prior to eTrans, Tumpa was full time engaged with organizations such as TIL Limited, ABP Limited, Times Internet, Bata India. During her tenure at TIL Limited, she was a Caterpillar Certified Brand Advocate /Instructor.
