It gives me a great pleasure to be able to serve you and the logistics industry for the last 23 years.

We started this journey with a vision to create a logistics support service with a strong moral and ethical compass focused on driving efficiency and value in the supply chain landscape of India. The continued trust and confidence our esteemed customers repose in us is a testament to this fact.

Our performance has been reasonably good so far and our list of blue-chip clients who have been with us from the beginning is a testament to the same. Over the years, eTrans has evolved as the customers’ go-to provider for vehicle tracking and transportation solutions.

When we set out, our main focus was to build a Freight Exchange to disintermediate the domestic transportation Industry. However, this idea was ahead of its time and we realize that in order to make it a reality we would first need to create a credible tracking and monitoring infrastructure.

To this end, we first Introduced a new concept centered on Card Based Tracking, partnering with highway stakeholders like Gas stations, Dhabas, Border clearing agents, telephone PCOs, etc. which helped us to create a reliable tracking system prior to the advent of GPS. Eventually, when GPS technology became commercially available, we began to offer GPS based tracking with third party devices.  This journey was not smooth: in fact, it was marked by many failures. With time and experience, we were able to develop a robust GPS solution in the marketplace, tailor made to Indian conditions and providing many value-added services including actionable MIS, timely alerts, KPI-visualization and automated billing support.

I take immense pride in stating that we are probably one of the few, if not the only company, which has been in existence for over two decades in this Telematics and Vehicle Tracking Solutions domain.

With our considerable experience and expertise, we have now begun to manufacture our own GPS units, which are both approved by ARAI &iCAT, and comply with automotive industry standards. We now also provide solutions based on video recorders which meet the topmost safety and incident management compliance requirements.

I am very happy to share that recently we reached a great milestone: In July 2023, eTrans acquired Ranet4u, a subsidiary of Rane Holdings (a part of Rane Group). Ranet4u is a renowned full-service IoT company specializing in a host of tech platforms, namely, IoT, geospatial, end-to-end telematics solutions, business intelligence, cloud, mobile, and data analytics.  Not only in India, Ranet4u customers span across the globe and include leading MNCs, Indian Govt institutes, large corporates and top startups.

The name of the Ranet4u post acquisition is eTrans t4u Pvt Ltd. The entire Ranet4u team is now a part of the eTrans family.

This acquisition brings about a great strategic fit with complementary core competencies. Already a pioneer in vehicle tracking and GPS solutions eTrans is now stronger than ever to deliver greater value with its expanded product and solutions repertoire.

Finally, I would like to acknowledge the dedication and hard work put in by all my colleagues and partners (whom I address as my extended family). They have in one way or another helped to shape this company. Without their efforts, eTrans Solutions would not have reached the position in which it finds itself today.
